How to process a refund on WePay

If you need to refund a donor, you can do so on your organization's WePay account.

  • Log in to your WePay account
  • Click "View all" or "Balance to go to your account's Transactions page
  • Use the date options to refine the donation date, or search for the donor by their email address
  • Click the donor's name
  • A window will open with their transaction details. Click Issue Refund.

It typically takes 3-7 days for the refunded amount to credit back to your donor's credit card account.
